Snuggle Care!

Volunteers sew donated fabric and used blue jeans, or other denim
items into quilts.  The quilts are given to pediatric and/or adolescent patients
to use while in the hospital, and to bring home upon discharge.

When their illness dictates that they return to the hospital, the quilts
are brought with them as a familiar "snuggle care" item from home.

Infant bereavement quilts are also donated.  The Mothers hold their babies
wrapped in their choice of a small 36" X 40" quilt, which they then take home.
This quilt helps with the Mother's closure.
